I love it!! This is my second underscarf ever and it works so much better than the first one I got (from somewhere else)!!!! It fits my head perfectly and does not budge, even when I have to be pretty active. I love it, I plan to get more soon!

My hair is very soft and only the roughest gauze-like fabric stays on my head without lots of clips and pins. Even with clips and pins, many scarves don't stay in place for me. This underscarf performs no miracles, but I do love it. I use two hair clips to secure the front rim of the fabric to my hairline and then two Bobby pins on either side of my face to keep those flyaway hairs in place. I wear my hair underneath in a ponytail and a large claw clip. Without the barely there underscarf, my ponytail falls out of the claw clip. So its an essential part of my wardrobe. Barely there describes this product perfectly. I have three and wear them every week 8-hours a day for work. And I have a lot of moving around. I work in kindergarten!

Unfortunately this under cap does not stay on. I tried Wearing it loose and tight to see if I could maneuver trying to keep it on, nothing worked! This is the first under-cap I have received that I can’t wear. The rest I’ve gotten from here all stay on my head beautifully.

Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback, Jennifer. We're sorry the Caramel Barely There Underscarf didn't seem to work out for you. I recommend tying it just so it's snug but not too tightly as that will have the opposite effect and the tension will cause it to slip back throughout the day. It should be secure throughout the day with just a snug fit and please be sure to wear it right at your hairline where your hairline meets your forehead and not further back than that. Too small for my head.
CanadaBreathable but not wearable
Got this because I loved the concept of it being breathable and lightweight. While it is breathable, it will not stay on my head, nor anyone elses! The band area is far too narrow to gain any traction for holding and it sits on the ears at an odd height. The bun area is also too small and my hair isn't that long? It slips off as soon as I tie it (loose, medium or super tight), I couldn't even get as far as putting the hijab on :') Unfortunately it didn't work for me and returning it would be costly + the time has passed for returns. I will try to glue gun some grips on it or use fashion tape on the front band area to see if that helps. I've loved all my HH purchases thus far but this one didn't make the cut. Thankfully I got it on sale.

Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback, Fatma. We're sorry the Barely There Underscarf didn't work for you. To reduce slippage, we recommend not tieing it too tightly in the back. Many people tighten it thinking that will help keep it on, but the opposite is true. Our underscarves are designed to be snug, but not overly tight to the head. Although many of us are used to extremely tight underscarves, wearing them often is not good for our hair and scalp over the long term and can cause a lot of discomfort while wearing.
