These colors are very pretty. Pale rose is a baby pink, very lovely with dark colors like black and emerald green. Rosewood is a neutral brownish pink, and Petal is a muted neutral pink, not too bright, great for a basic pink. All three washed really well (I used a laundry bag and other items in the washer were delicate items, nothing heavy). They do feel really slick, but smooth and comfortable, so just make sure you use magnets/pins and underscarves. This is a beautiful set, and I'm so glad I got it! If you love pink, get this set! Chiffon looks so professional.
